Two boat-shaped forms — one pale green, one deep navy — float on a sky-blue ground on handmade paper with deckled edges. Collaged map fragments, a striped buoy, the word “Nord” and a Japanese character bring together navigation, travel and memory in this intimate, jewel-like work. A quietly joyful piece that reflects Weller’s life split between California and Italy.
